WHAT IS RE?

RE: is a modern social media app for sharing and discovering content on any device. Many social feeds feel crowded with ads, filters and noise. RE: takes the opposite approach: a clean design and smooth animations that keep attention on real, unedited moments.

THE CHALLENGE

The app had to look and feel the same on a phone, a tablet and a computer, while staying fast and uncluttered. That meant every screen needed to adapt to different sizes without losing its layout, and every interaction needed to feel smooth without distracting from the content.

Built screens from reusable blocks, so the same components work across the feed, profile and other pages.

RESPONSIVE BREAKPOINTS

Defined clear rules for how each layout adapts from mobile to tablet to desktop.

Created a guide for transitions and animations, so motion feels consistent and purposeful across the app.

Designed the final screens with a focus on clean hierarchy and easy-to-reach actions.

WHAT RE: BRINGS TO YOUR SCREEN

A fast, clutter-free feed with smooth animations and layouts that adapt to any screen size. Every design choice keeps the focus on authentic content, not on the interface.

USER PROFILE

The profile is each user's home for their content and activity. Posts, replies and photos are organised into clear tabs, so visitors can explore a creator's page quickly. Editing the profile or changing settings takes a single tap.

HOME FEED

The home page gives users a quick snapshot of their day. Key updates from every service sit in one easy-to-scan view, so users can see what matters without jumping between sections.

KEY LEARNINGS

Good UI is a system, not just screens. Modular layouts, clear breakpoints and a motion guide turned many complex screens into one consistent experience.

Less is more - Removing anything that didn't serve the content made the app feel faster and more focused.
Motion needs rules - A shared motion guide kept animations smooth and meaningful instead of decorative.
